I'm nice and early with my entry for Less Is More for a change this week. I've had a free morning so I have taken some time to do a bit of crafting. As soon as I saw this week's challenge, I knew what I wanted to do.
Its my friend Lou's birthday coming up and she just adores shoes, so this card will be for her.
The shoe is designed by Jak Heath and was a digital download as part of the Help for Katie package. It was originally facing the other way, but I flipped it horizontally and removed the original sentiment because it fitted my card better. Apologies Jak that your copyright signature also got flipped.
The sentiment was done in word, using text boxes to vary the font size and alignment. The jewelled bezel was part of the new stash I got at the NEC last weekend and I added a red gem from paperchase in the centre.
I've saved this design because I think I'll use it again and it did take longer than you would think to get the sentiment and image lined up to print in the right place on the card.
Thank you Chrissie and Mandi for another great challenge.
