So, there we are, all up to date now. Just the last 6 letters of the alphabet to do. Its been a long project, but definitely worth it to get such a wide variety of work from so many people.

Thank you, Paula. I have enjoyed this swap and in some months recently it has been the only crafting that I have managed to do.
ReplyDeleteThe background on 'Tree' is distress inks that have been oversprayed with a very dilute solution of 'prewash spray' then blotted with kitchen towel. It takes some of the colour out but isn't as aggressive as bleach.
It is literally an almost empty 1 litre bottle of prewash with no more than 50cm3 left in and refilled with tap water. I spray into the air above the piece from about 50cm away and let droplets fall onto the piece, rather than spraying directly - gives that soft speckled effect.
