Just a quickie

I haven't had much time this week, but I have got a couple of quick cards I made this weekend.
The first was for an ex work colleague of my husband.

He always calls her Barbie and so I made a personalised badge using publisher and then cut it out with my nesties.

It uses my favourite Marianne butterfly die, flourish and flower. The backing paper is Artylicious and ribbon and brad are from my stash.

This really was a quick make but I was quite pleased with how it turned out.

The morning was so beautiful today, it felt like spring was coming so I decided to make a card using spring colours.

The back ground paper is printed from the Artylicious Essence of Nature CD and the lily is from Elusive Images Flora and Fauna Theme plate coloured with pro markers.

I added a yellow background edged with a Martha Stewart edger punch, a ribbon and a sentiment made using publisher and it was done.

I hope the spring weather stays for a while and everyone manages to get out and about in the sunshine.

  1. These are both beautiful Gina but I love the second one best because I love the way you coloured the image and the colours are so sunny and springlike. Makes me feel cheerful just looking at it.
