Blue Tilda

After a bit of a worrying time with the rabbit... more of that later, I wanted a feel good day, so I had another play with my tilda stamp.

I chose pretty duck egg and green tea pro markers to colour her dress and then looked for the perfect backing paper.

I found one on the Artylicious Essence of Nature CD and a second one on the Artylicious Filigree Fusions CD, so used them both.

I got out the sewing machine and stitched around both pieces of backing paper and then added some guipure lace - this one was a market find.

I added some seam binding and flowers from wild orchid crafts, a couple of die cut flourishes by Marianne Creatables and a home made sentiment.

Much prettier than my usual makes. I hope you like it.

  1. Love this... it's very sweet, I like the colour choices a lot. So many people insist on colouring Tilda pink every time!

  3. This is really lovely Gina. I don't do cute very often either but I do like them. I have quite a few 'cute' type stamps which are sadly neglected.

I love the colours on here and Tilda is beautifully coloured. I absolutely love that delicate lace.
