Christmas Cracker

Its challenge time again over at Bah! Humbug! and I was really challenged again. The theme this week is 'cracker'. Of course, I had no stamps with crackers on or, indeed, anything 'crackerish' at all.

I had a few ideas and tried them out, but nothing worked. Eventually I went for simple bling and here it is. Its fairly late and so the glue hasn't dried properly as I take the photo.

The cracker is just three strips of glitter card joined with tissue paper. Two of the strips are edged with a Martha Stewart punch and the cracker is made 3 dimensional with foam pads. The gems are from Paperchase and the sentiment is home made using Publisher and glitter.

Another one for next year :-)

  5. Hi Gina ... finally getting around to commenting on our cracker challenge entries. Am only allowed to do short sessions at the computer. So pleased you didn't give up when you saw our theme but instead dug deep into your creative mind and came up with an absolute cracker of a card. Just love the glittery paper. Thank you for sharing with us at Bah! Humbug!
